Crisi started in the beauty industry straight from leaving school, completing her level 2 & 3 NVQ in hairdressing. Shortly after qualifying she took her career in a different direction and worked for many years in an office setting, learning some business and development skills along the way. After starting a family, Crisi then took the decision to take a career break to be a stay-at-home mum looking after her two daughters.
In 2019 she decided to head back into the beauty industry, successfully completing courses in acrylic nails, nail art and learning the art of 3D flowers. In 2020 she signed up to another course and qualified as a level 3 make up artist. By the end of the year, the amazing opportunity to join the team at Emma Louise came up and she took the chance with much excitement.
Since joining the team Crisi has grown in confidence and has since furthered her skills by qualifying in other beauty services and is now able to offer Brow treatments, facials, waxing and spray tanning.
As Emma Louise is a qualified teacher and assessor, Crisi continues to add to her ever-growing list of services that she is able to offer.

Carlos worked in the financial investment industry for over 10 years before being made redundant and deciding on huge career change! After initially training at Preston’s College to complete his Level 2 qualification, he worked within long established salons alongside other highly experienced barbers. It was here that he gained a wealth of knowledge on many styles of haircuts and beard shapes. Eventually, it was time to move on and work independently so that Carlos’ own personality and style could be fully expressed within his work. It was at this point that Carlos also decided to undertake the Level 3 Barbering qualification at Blackpool & Fylde college to further advance his skills.
Following the time spent working in other Barber shops, in September 2020, the Carlos the Barber business was established. Operating within the Emma Louise Beauty Salon & Training Academy, the aim of the business is to provide top quality hair services at a competitive price whilst still retaining an element of relaxation and luxury. Both modern and traditional styles are catered for and people of all ages are made very welcome. An online booking service is available, and preferred, but every effort will be made to accommodate walk-in clients.
